SoftChip is a loader for Wii Disc backups using the Homebrew Channel.

It's a great softmod alternative to the Backup Launcher and a free option to a costly modchip.


SoftChip feature includes:

• Remove 002 Protection
• Compatibility with consoles of all drive types
• Boot from non-standard ISO9660 Homebrew Wii discs

Softchip is available as .WAD (so you can install it as a channel) but you can also load it as a .DOL. I suggest you to load it for more compatibility. Remember that if you get the file .dol different from boot.dol, rename it to boot.dol and put it into the softchip folder.

DVD+Rs media are supported only changing the Booktype of DVD+R media to DVD-ROM. Suggested burning software are ImgBurn and Nero.
